The Clouds Have Cleared!

Hey Everyone!

After a stretch of bad luck, things have been going fabulously well here at the Last Chance Corral recently! This past weekend, we adopted out a BUNCH of horses, AND some people (we like to call them Last Chance angels!) have made some generous donations to the farm.

We went up to the Rocky Fork Headley Hunter Pace yesterday, and we took Pern, Zen, and Link. We all had a bunch of fun, and it was a good way to show that LCC horses ARE competitive and exciting! Deborah Penner adopted Pern at the event, and he will be making the long trip to California in the next few days! Kathleen Rigg of Granville, Ohio, and her husband made a wonderful donation to the Corral to ensure that we keep chug-a-luggin'... with our heads held high.

Zen and Indian were adopted out to a wonderful couple earlier this morning, and will be tearing it up on the trails here shortly! Also, Doppler, Demon, and Harley are all currently living in the lap of luxury at a super nice farm in WV... and we couldn't be happier! Thanks to people like these, we have hope!

PS: Here is a picture of Pern and Victoria at the Hunter Pace, and I included some pictures of Rexie ON TOP of the truck... never mind the scratches from his nails, that truck is immune! He always has to be a ham... especially when he sees the camera!
